L'Associazione Domani (Association Tomorrow) was established in 2019 with the aim to connect two generations who have a common objective: to create a meeting place where they can find again their connection with nature. They create things by themselves in order to be aware of the process, the materials used, and the impact it has on our planet.
At the same time, they create a community that share moments of training, growth and experimentation. Therefore, they created these two age groups: one with members under 30, and another group is the parents, around the age of 60.
Members under 30 are engaged in learning methods to become more self-sufficient, like recycling garbage and used goods by creating certain self-care products, like home-made solid shampoo from used oil. They organize meetings, workshops, and swap parties (markets for clothes exchange - they exchange clothes they have in a good condition and haven’t used in a long time). They are also the promoting members of the Fridays for Future, the international climate movement of Greta Thunberg: they go to schools in Savona and advocate for this important cause.

Members of the age group of the parents take care of a land in the center of Savona, which had been an illegal landfill before it has been reclaimed. They are making shared gardens that will be open to the public in a few years. They are doing a co-housing project and they also organize trainings for education on permaculture to find balance between people and the environment.

On their workshops, Association Tomorrow teaches how to do solid shampoos and soaps at home with used oil and other natural elements. In this way, they recycle a product that is very difficult to dispose of and which, being a special waste, must be taken to certain collection centers. The goal is to teach these people to become autonomous in the production of soaps; the products created during these workshops are used by Caritas in services such as Docce (the shower service or homeless people). This is one of the many collaborations that they started doing at the Miranda house.
