Youth Pass
Youthpass is a new way for the participants in the Youth in Action Program to describe what they have done and to demonstrate what they have learned. (So far the only people to have a standard test of this, through a certificate, were participants in the European Volontary Service).
Starting with youth exchanges, the EVS and training courses, each participant will have the opportunity to get his Youthpass and will soon be added other actions. The Youthpass is the instrument of certification and recognition of the Youth in Action Program. Through the Youthpass, the European Commission hereby certifies that the participation in the Youth in Action Program is recognized as an educational experience and constitutes a period of non-formal and informal learning.
A long series of persons and institutions (which we call “stakeholders”) could potentially be affected the results relating to the implementation of Youthpass – In particular if we see it as part of the overall process of evaluation of participation in the program and to give greater recognition to the participants.
